There is a very important line in your email, “Your Control Panel: https://gator…”This gets you to your cPanel. cPanel is a trade name and short for Control Panel and that is just what it is. It controls your whole web operation.


Your cPanel controls and information are very important  to you. Be sure to keep all this email information on how to get to your cPanel and log in. You need that now and later, including the link. Without that link the cPanel can be hard to find the first time. Now bookmark it.

Notice the third panel down. There you have an icon with a lock, enabling you to change your password. This was the first thing I did enabling me to have a login I could remember.
